Solar Powered
Distribution House benefits from a rooftop 80kw Solar PV system, over-specified for our use. Our solar energy not only powers our building, but our fleet of electric FLTs! Any unused energy is exported to avoid waste.
Fleet Renewal
Our fleet renewal programme ensures that the Browns trucks hitting the tarmac are no older than 5 years! With 100% of our fleet running Euro 6 compliant engines, we can operate in all ULEZ areas.
Warehouse Decarbonisation
Our warehouse operates with 100% electric Forklift trucks entirely powered through our rooftop solar PV system. Since Distribution House opened in 2023, we've seen a 50% reduction in the amount of energy used by our warehouse!

Our network partner Palletline are accredited to ISO 14001: Environmental and ISO 50001: Energy, with their multi-hub model reducing operational distance by 4.5 million miles per year. That's a reduction of 7.5 tonnes of CO2 each year!
