New Appointments at Browns
Following sustained growth in recent months, Browns Distribution has added to its ranks with the arrival of four new staff members across different departments.
The first of which is John McCune, who comes in as General Manager on the operations side of the business, after a successful 35 years in the logistics industry.
After starting off in his father’s business at the age of 16, John has gone on to provide logistics solutions for household names such as Indesit, Premier Foods and MARS.
John moved to the Midlands 18 years ago and has a wealth of experience which can help Browns continue its recent upward trajectory in the haulage trade.
Elsewhere, there has also been two key additions to the marketing department.
Matt Gibbs has arrived as Digital Marketing Manager to promote the services of Browns and other business interests.
Matt moves into the distribution sector with a great deal of marketing experience in highly-regarded organisations such as bet365, Macesport and Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
From covering international football at Wembley Stadium to managing PR and marketing campaigns for renowned companies, Matt’s experience will play a key part in Browns’ future plans.
Joining Matt in the marketing team is Celine Evans, who joins as Junior Copywriter following a successful period in a similar role at Click Dealer Ltd.
Celine already has a considerable amount of experience when it comes to producing editorial copy for websites, and she is another valuable addition to the team.
Nick Jones has also joined the business in the role of Traffic Planner, and Nick will play a big part in the day-to-day Browns operations.
David Brown Jnr, Managing Director of Browns Distribution, said: “It’s a sign of the great work we’ve done at Browns in recent times, that we’ve been able to secure four fantastic new acquisitions.
“We have strengthened some key departments and we look forward to continuing our recent progress over the coming months.”
