In the unlikely event that the consignment is delivered short or damaged please contact our Claims Department on 01782 525300 within 4 working days of delivery for details of how to make a claim (a copy of our claims precedure is available on request).
Your customer must endorse the delivery note accordingly upon receipt of the goods at the delivery point. Unfortunately we are unable to process claims without a claused signature on the POD. The words “Unchecked” or similar are not accepted as claused.
If your customer wishes to claim for the shortage / damage, you must provide a copy of the commercial invoice showing the cost of the goods, excluding VAT. There are also a number of additional documents that our insurers require completion of which will be provided by our Claims Department.
Through every stage a Claim Handler will be assigned. This will be the point of contact for all enquires regarding the situation. We aim to complete claims within 2 weeks.
